Why is my bath not working?
Check whether there is power going to the bath.
When the start button is pressed can you hear a beep? If there is power, when turned on all our whirlpools and steam cabinets will beep.
If the bath has been turned on and it beeps but nothing else happens a likely fault is the level sensor has fallen off, we can send an engineer or if you prefer, you can simply re attach the sensor to the side of the bath. The sensor should usually be slightly higher than the top of the jet.
Why is the whirpool system not working even thought my bath is on?
If the bath is beeping it may be that there is not enough water in the tub - the water should be above the jets for the whirlpool system to function. Also check the position of the water level sensor as if it is positioned too high and the water does not reach the sensor the whirlpool system will not function.
If there is a buzzing noise like a wasp buzzing it is likely to be the solenoid valve opening the suction inlet to allow water to flow through the pipes - this is perfectly normal. The solenoid valve is like a trap door which opens when the whirlpool system is turned on, it is a hygiene device which prevents water from going through the pipes when the whirlpool is not in use.
I you heard a whirring noise and then the pump cut out, it is highly likely to be the capacitor - we will need to send an engineer to replace this part.
If the pump is running but nothing is coming out of the jets, the breather valve attached to the pump could need replacing. When the valve is faulty it causes an airlock which stops the jets from working.
